tigerbomb8,

The only reason I am responding to you is because Pete is presently travelling and said he might not be back till the coming weekend.
----------------------
Specification: from the URL link you showed

Frequency : 35 / 36 / 40 / 41 / 72Mhz
Size : 28.5 * 15 * 7.6mm
Weight : 4.7g (with shrink wrap)
Range : >1.2km / 3900ft 3/4 of a mile
Selectivity : ±8kHz at 65dB down Channels are separated by 20 Khz
Number of channels : 1-4 Channels here are referring to the number of servos that can be fed. It is not the channels that the transmitters are radiating out (like channel 11 to 60 on the 72 Mhz band.
Filtering : Dual turned RF circuitry This is telling us there is two Radio Frequency amplification stages ahead of the conversion of frequency. Radio frequency radiated being changed (converted) to the Intermediate frequency (455 Khz or 10.7 Mhz)
Filtering : Dual 4 pole ceramic filter are tuning the IF (Intermediate frequency)
Filtering : DSP filtering with mild algorithm
Crystal size : UM-5
Intermediate Frequency : 455KHZ Risk of interference from the image frequency due to single conversion
IP3 : +9dBm
Shift polarity : Positive or Negative (auto - detect)
Case : Shrink wrap
Operating Voltage : 4.8V~6.0VDC
Operating Current : 11mA
Modulate : FM/PPM(pulse position modulation) Anyone . . . Ask questions if you are curious
Packing Weight : 25g

Items included:

Corona RS410II 4Ch Single Conversion Long Range FM Receiver
---------------------

I may edit later and attach a block diagram of typical receivers when I find time

Some beginners may be interested. If not there is nothing lost.
I realize that it might be a bit technical but I do not know any better and more simple way of answering the two questions asked by ="tigerbomb8".

Note: The print is very good. Somehow the scan to convert to jpg is poor. I do not know what to do about that right now

KILOP,
So it is a 72Mhz, 4 channel receiver.

It would need a crystal?

It would work with a 72Mhz transmitter?

Playing Devil's advocate.

I do not know. Many Europeans use a different frequency band around 35 and 40 Megahertz

All transmitters and receivers need a crystal if they are not synthesized or on the 2.4 Giga band.

I cannot think what is the "It" in the line above referrring to.
If you refer to the receiver tigerbomb8 is planning to buy, I think it is a 27 Mhz system

Playing Devil's advocate.

An advocate is a supporter. If you are supporting me, then I am the Devil. Hi! Hi!
But I am a "good Devil"
