Am having an Issue with getting a DX7 into the correct settings, we seem to be unable to reverse the setting on the Elevator. Bot radios are DX-7's

The primary is mine and has all the settings for the plane programmed in ( T-34 ) my instructor also has a DX-7 he has been unable to ge his to reverse the elevator on his when the Training switch on mine is released ( i will use his, he will use mine ). My radio commands the elevator correctly, his is reversed and we seem to me unable to correct that

Anyone have any idea's as to what or why?

Fla_Larry,

Yes I know your question was back on 26th of October and I do not know if you are still around but I noticed you had no response and that was your only posting.

I think I can explain to you but please let me know if you are still reading this forum and I will help you understanding what is going on.

I completely missed this post  . It was when we were away for the month and I wasn't getting online much.

Pete,

I kind of hope that you do not feel obliged to respond to every single postings in the forum.

It reflects that you think so but i am telling you that you should not, even if you may disagree with my point of view.

People have some priorities particularly with a new family.

I responded late to Fla_Larry having run across his posting by chance and noticing no one had replied.

While I have a hunch that you are or were in the wood working industry (cabinet making or similar) it is not evident what your daily activity is except that you obviusly spend a lot of your valuable time for the forum.

Your achievement is "extra-ordinary" in favor of the hobby beginners and I am not passing along flowers. Just noticing the situation as it is quite obvious.

You are showing an extensive knowledge of the hobby market.
A domain where I am quite ignorant compared to you.
I am more in the technicalities of the hobby than the marketing aspects.

Most of my hobby experience comes out of experimentations with varius models, with designs and the flying experience in the development of home brew radio stuff. We had to learn how to make models as crash proof as possible (and still look like an airplane) due to crashing being a daily occurrence while playng with old technology.

That led to "how best to glue things together" and "how should the model be built to transfer the impact forces with the least damage" and "how to make it light weight but strong" and this kind of things.

I cannot be as much help as you when it comes to absolute beginners. As they progress in the hobby and if they decide to assemble their own plane from a kit or from scratch, I can offer assistance in the building process, with the setups, and the flying aspect (like "what the heck :) is going on up there with the airplane".

I discovered something new to me last evening with the forum.
I found out that there is a way to see and get guidance about the various postings made by the group members.

I did not know that until now.

Hey Pete, Have a wonderful Christmas.
My best wishes to you and your dear half.
A hugh to Carla on my behalf.

One of your happiest Christmas is coming your way.

Thanks Paul! :) No, I don't disagree with you - I shouldn't feel obliged to respond to every post, especially now that the forum is more established. But I do like to give a personal welcome to new members where possible, so I was just a bit surprised to see Larry had slipped through the net, so to speak!

Merry Christmas to you!
