hi I am Uwe a german living here since 8 Years

I have got 2 Boots(1 sub) a car a Tank(amphi) a Cameraduck and in a few Days my first RC Plane a Catalina Seaplane of Great Planes in the States

I am training to fly with my Reflex xtr Sim and it works well there..lets see how good it will be in real

I can't find any club close by :-(
Anyone out there living next to Macclesfield/Cheshire? to join me flying?

I could also do it with informations where I will be allowed to fly my plane or if there are special rules..it is electro 1,36m wingspan arround 1,4kg weight

I contacted BMFG but got no answer yet

anyway I like this page looking forward to share my fun with flying with you

regards Uwe

Hello Uwe, welcome to the forum ;-)

I´ve got some Cheshire clubs listed on my site at http://www.rc-airplane-world.com/rc-fly ... .html#ches but not sure how close any are to where you live.

Google Maps shows quite a choice of lakes around the town, particularly to the west just off the A537 road, but I´m not personally familiar with the area so I wouldn´t like to say how suitable they are for flying the Cat from.
There must be a model shop or two in the town, I would pop in and ask - local model shop owners are usually very knowledgeable in local flying sites :-)
